October 2-6, 2023

To celebrate Walk to School Week we will have a paper ticket raffle, Walking School Bus and a Tiger Paw count! Children will be given paper raffle tickets to fill out with their name and grade.  Each morning there will be drop bags set up near the main entrance, small playground, large playground and Daymon Terrace to drop off the raffle tickets.  The raffle winner will be announced each morning and will win a $15 gift card to Longford’s!

Wednesday, October 4th - Count the tiger paws as you walk to school!

The Walking School Buses will return on Friday October 6!!  We have 4 bus stops that will have a faculty member leading the bus to school.  

Walking School Bus Stops 

· Forest Ave and Valley Rd.

· North Chatsworth and Birch Rd.

· Maple Hill Dr. and Orsini Dr.

· Briarcliff Rd and Crescent Rd.

If the bus passes your house feel free to join as they are walking.  If you would like to join from the beginning the "buses"(aka a Murray faculty member) will arrive for pick up at 8:15 and will leave no later than 8:20.

As the buses might pull into Murray prior to the doors opening only students designated as walkers are allowed to join the bus unaccompanied by an adult/older sibling walker.  All younger riders will need an adult/older sibling walker.
